Numerous faculty members and researchers from nine departments (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Nursing, Psychology, Public Health) participate in research and education in areas related to the foci of the center. One of the missions of the center is to seek joint educational and research projects with industry partners. Currently we have joint projects with the Genomic Institute of Novartis Research Foundation and Invitrogen. The center actively seeks and welcomes new industry and academic partners.
