Faculty affiliated with the BMI Masters Program focus on research and education in the fields of Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics and Medical Informatics. Numerous faculty members and researchers from nine departments (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Nursing, Psychology, Public Health) participate in research and education in areas related to the foci of the program. One of the missions of the program is to seek joint educational and research projects with industry partners. The program actively seeks and welcomes new industry and academic partners.
